Knowledge, has been metaphorically interpreted as the source of the river of life. This is the goal of RE to give abundant knowledge to everyone in Malawi, Africa, where the organization is based. How was it created?

Since RE is WSU developed and ran, the organization has undertones of science, agriculture, and student involvement. How does RE instill knowledge? The RippleEffect transfers knowledge because it operates differently from some other non-profits.

This brochure demonstrates how to use mind-mapping to draw the stories and ripple eff ects of a complex program and code it to measure outcomes. A second handout is a brief description to help you understand the basics and benefits of the program Community Capitals Framework Using the Community Capitals Framework, you can trace the impacts of investments in one or more of the Capitals and then make strategic alliances by understanding links of organizations to different capitals.

Successful communities pay attention to each of the seven capitals: social, cultural, human, political, natural, built, and financial. Additionally variations in how it has been implemented is discussed. Finally, instructions are provided for coding to the Community Capitals Framework, as well as digitizing the maps.
