Metered regulations are not in effect on Sundays and drivers are advised to always check posted signage before parking. Vehicle type, rates and durations may be variable throughout the day. Metered spaces with time limits longer than three hours, will charge the first hour rate for each hour. NYC DOT works closely with community boards, merchants, BIDs and other local stakeholders to help regulate curbside turnover in areas that fall out of the normal rate structure.
