The Mojito was pink, bitter and garnished with a lemon The Old Fashioned had the wrong color and flavor. This soured the experience right away. Ordered steak hibachi and veggie hibachi. Server asked how I wanted steak cooked and I asked for medium rare. Steak came in very small bite size cuts that were well done.

Vegetables on side were clearly microwaved, not grilled. Fried rice was decent. Disappointing all around. I have always enjoyed their sushi, and I ordered the rainbow roll and a Salmon roll.

Wife ordered vegetable roll. The rainbow roll had only one fish on top, with other pieces topped with avocado and cooked shrimp - not traditional different fishes. I won't return. There were not many folks patronizing, and now it is apparent why. Food standards are sub par, and the servers seemed to simply be going through the motions - aware that their fare was tired. What was once a new and exciting addition to the Memphis downtown restaurant scene now seems old, like a worn casino carpet floor that has seen years of wear without replacement.

We intended to go to another restaurant on Main St. This place was almost empty At any rate, we were hungry and needed to catch a quick bite before a show. We ducked in and were seated immediately. Our waiter was solicitous, but when I asked about gluten free options, he said, "all sushi is gluten free. Way wrong. Another waiter, Paul, overheard and jumped in, letting me know which options could be modified to make them gluten free.

The atmosphere is interesting but not unpleasant. Ask for Paul to serve you. He's great. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. It's a good everyday dining experience A fairly large group of us went here for lunch after the St Jude run. It ended up working out well. We all had good meals and enjoyed ourselves.

Spicy tuna, jalapeno, shrimp, avocado, scallop tempuraand scallions topped with eel sauce, spicy mayo, chili sauceand scallion. Deep fried lobster tail, crab salad, avocado, cucumber and creem cheese, topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Seared beef with fresh jalapeno, ginger salsa, garlic chipand citric vinegar. She told us this had been a problem with the rice all day.

Absolutely terrible customer service by who I assume is the manager. Placed and paid for an order through Door Dash for pickup as I work in the same building, when I arrived it was ready but the 'manager' told me I would have to pay After I finally understood what he was asking me to do, I told him I would not accept the food and would not ever eat at that location again despite its proximity.

A very friendly server did try and intervene on my behalf but not before the 'manager' got in my face and grabbed my arm as I was walking out. I have had other negative experiences here previously but this was the final straw.

I have worked in the restaurant industry for 13 years serving, bartending, management, kitchen, etc. Great service and food was fantastic. Lunch specials were great prices too! Fried rice was a favorite with my husband. I have eaten at blue fin downtown for lunch on numerous occasions hoping the next will be good. Turns out each visit the service is good but the food is terrible.

Just horrible. But unfortunately with or without special food is horrible. Even the veggies taste like the frozen bag steamed veggies you by from the grocery store. I have complained once but when replaced the fried rice and chicken taste the same bad.
